Justice

We could do all of the things I am advocating for….education, improved economic opportunities for all, and still there will be evil in this world that must be brought to justice. 

Our federal Department of Justice has always strived to keep a non-partisan approach and it is critical that it continue to do that and remain above the fray and dutifully enforce all laws on the books, even the ones that the President, Attorney General and his or her subordinates are not supporters of from a political standpoint. 

I will address more of the specific things that the DOJ has to deal with when I get to social issues, but DOJ is another piece of our government that we need to make sure is fully funded and staffed according to what the experts inside the department say they need to do the job effectively.

Lady Justice must remain blind to political motives and machinations.
